Metal roofs can also be made to resemble wood shakes, clay tiles, shingles, and Victorian metal tiles. This type of roof is durable and just about maintenance free. They also reflect heat and sunlight away from the home, which keeps the home cooler and more efficient. It is very expensive, so if you aren’t planning on being in your Florida home for decades, it may not be an economical choice.
